Soleil works in both black and gray and color, with an elegant, illustrative style that often blends delicate botanicals and feminine figures with gothic themes. She especially loves drawing creepy witches, gothic vampires, and other subjects with a dark, romantic feel.

Her inspiration also comes from her adorable menagerie at home including rats, bunnies, giant dogs, and reptiles.

Soleil is especially interested in the way tattoos interact with the body, creating pieces that flow naturally with a client’s form in a flattering and intentional way. She also enjoys experimenting with texture and technique to give tattoos the illusion of being created in another medium, such as flowing ink or watercolor.
